F.A.Q - Frequently Asked Questions Covid-19

Is it true that lots of establishments in Bibione won’t open this year?

No, it isn’t true. Times are tough and lots of places are thinking about what to do, but the majority of them will be ready to welcome you as soon as it is possible to do so.

Is it possible to book holidays in Bibione at the moment?

Yes, it is possible. You can either contact the individual destinations or use the booking system on this website.

The staff from Bibione’s accommodation facilities are working, but please be patient because it may take longer than normal to respond to your enquiries due to the current lockdown in Italy.

If I book now, will I have to pay a deposit?

The booking conditions and the amount that has to be paid as a deposit vary from one establishment to the next. Please contact the establishment in question if you would like more information about how to pay your deposit or you want to ask for an extension to the payment deadline.

I’ve already booked my holiday. Can I cancel the reservation?

If you’ve booked a holiday that is due to begin soon, we recommend that you contact the establishment in question directly. They will be able to give you two options:

  1. Postpone your holiday without any additional costs.
  2. Cancel your booking and receive a voucher for the amount that you paid as a deposit.

If you’ve booked a holiday that is not due to start in the near future, please wait before you cancel your booking. We’re optimistic, we believe that the situation will improve and we’d love to welcome you to our beach.

What is the deadline for cancelling a booking without losing the deposit?

Each accommodation facility has its own terms and conditions for cancellations. Please contact the establishment in question if you would like more information about the terms and conditions, or how to cancel a booking.

What are deposit refund vouchers and how do they work?

In accordance with article 88 of Italian decree-law no. 18 of 2020 and article 28 of Italian decree-law no. 9 of 2020, deposits for cancelled bookings will not be lost. Instead, each deposit will be converted into a voucher for the same amount which is valid until 31/12/2021.

Consequently, you will be able to use the voucher to postpone your holiday this year or plan your holiday for next year.

Vouchers can be passed on to other people, so if you are unable to come to Bibione before the end of next year, your friends or relatives will be able to use your voucher.

Is it safe to go to Bibione on holiday?

The accommodation facilities are taking all of the necessary measures to clean and sanitize their premises in accordance with the instructions of the health authorities, thus guaranteeing maximum safety for everyone.

There has always been plenty of space on Bibione beach, with big spaces between the umbrellas.

First aid stations, a hospital and other medical services in the town help to provide unparalleled protection for the health of visitors.
