Basketball for children and for players in Bibione

This Sunday, 10th of July, has gone on stage in Bibione the last act of the beloved Bibione Basket Camp.

The camp for all young basketball fans also took place this summer in three turns, each lasting one week, with beginning in June 19th. As always the meeting is open to boys and girls aged 8 to 17, which can deepen the basketball or also begin to know and practice this sport in a beautiful and healthy place like the beach of Bibione.

All participants are followed by a technical staff trained not only to teach the basic techniques of basketball, but also the value of sport in like, the friendship and ready also to become funny entertainers for the amusement of children. This experience had had a great success from the first year, because it allowed participant to learn while having fun in a natural environment like Bibione, outside of places traditionally used for sports such as arenas and gymnasiums.

In fact, lessons take place in a sports arena surrounded by greenery in Bibione Pineda with four basketball courts and a very large indoor gym, useful in case of downpours and bad weather. In addition this sport facility offers also tennis, volleyball and beach volley courts, soccer fields and for the relaxation there are available cafés, beach umbrellas, deck chairs, sun beds and much more.

But Bibione Basketball Camp is not only lesson and training, it is also a lot of fun!

In fact, after lessons, boys and girls can relax and have fun on the beach or in swimming pool, always under the watchful eye of teachers. While the evening they can walk in city centre of Bibione, go to Luna Park and take part in the animation of the village where they stay. Also the camp participants enjoy different reductions for the pools in Bibione Spa and a day is completely for the fun in water park in Aquasplash in Lignano Sabbiadoro.

The Bibione Basket Camp is one of the many sporting events taking place in the Venetian beach.

In fact, of the same circuit are part Bibione Beach Fitness that will be held from 9th to 11th September and attracts hundreds of fitness enthusiasts, the Beach Rugby Festival, which took place Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of June with a large public, the Meeting of Football with two appointments, the first in early June and the second this week end of July, and the last festival concerns Beach Volley, the summer sport of Bibione.

Beach volleyball has become so famous and important, to propose a number of festivals throughout the summer for professionals, amateurs and children who begin to practice it. The most famous and exciting event is the Beach Volley Marathon: three appointments, end of May, early June and early September, with hundreds of volleyball players and thousands of fans and enthusiasts. The Trophy Beach&Ball takes place this week and it is for boys and girls aged 9 to 19 years, making part of volleyball sports associations and schools. For children, aged 6 to 16 years, there is Park Volley Junior, a volleyball tournament of a weekend in April.

And again: training camp of volleyball and beach volleyball from May to September, beach volleyball summer school with prepared teachers and educational sports trips for students. In this case, classes or entire schools can take part in this sports trip in Bibione during the months of May and September.

In short, in Bibione it is easy do sport, both in organized groups like these and alone.

Music, steps and fun: this is the Bibione Beach Fitness

September, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th, Bibione will be assaulted by all fitness lovers, who will combine step, aerobics and dancing with a beach holiday.

It is the moment of Bibione Beach Fitness, the fitness convention with the best national and international presenters that already for several years takes place on the beach of Bibione. Usually organized between May and June, this years the convention takes place at the beginning of September, to give another energy lash before the end of the summer. The event is inside the Beach Volley Marathon as ever, another historic sporting event of the Venetian beach that for two years suggests a double marathon in mid-May and early September.

The fun will be double: fans of fitness and volleyball will live up the beach and the city of Bibione for an entire week end both with their sports performances and with the beautiful parties, an opportunity for interaction and recreation between all athletes. And indeed the Beach Fitness starts already Friday evening at 7 p.m. with the Spritz party on the beach! Until 10.30 p.m. music, fun and spritz on the beach of Bibione, in front of the Arena Beach, the stage of the fitness convention. For the occasion, the platform of the arena will have a cover, to ensure a little shadow to all participants. The convention starts with a nice party on the beach and it continues…with a beautiful party in discotheque!

The fun is the key of success of fitness. All lessons are in fact full of joy, with good music and a lot of positive energy.

Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. presenters will make dance and entertain the numerous fans of fitness with classes with very attractive names: fashion step, step from Paris, dance and show, Argentinian step, team boxe motion, Italian step, dance evolution tribal and much more. Many ways to be in good form with step and aerobics that join special musics and borrow some movements of typical dances, but also revolutionary methods of training that combines boxing with dance.

Saturday evening it’s again party time on the beach and in disco, while Sunday the convention ends at 2 p.m. allowing all participants to relax on the beach.

It must be said that even at the Village, where the fitness convention is held, lack comforts and opportunities to relax. Besides the changing room with hot showers, the café and restaurant, participants will find big swimming pool with slides and especially the Jacuzzi areas, and the beach service with beach umbrellas and deck chairs to have a rest after a strong lessons and to sunbathe. And if someone wants to go for a dip in a thermal pool, the Spa of Bibione offers reductions to all participants of the Beach Fitness.

There are few months to the summer, but the sports events calendar is already known and very rich.
The beach of Bibione, the hotels, the apartments and the entire seaside resort will host from April to September several athletes and managers of all ages and nations engaged in tournaments and meetings of volleyball, beach volley, basketball and beach rugby.

To enable all athletes to play in the best way, it will be used fields on the beach, in the Arena Beach particularly, the gym and the outdoor fields. Also the accommodation facilities of the seaside resort will be ready to welcome thousands of athletes not only for the period of the tournament. As a matter of fact, a lot of athletes with their families or with their friends take advantage of this opportunity to spend a short holiday on the beach and very often, hotels and apartments of Bibione suggest them some special offers.

The sporting season begins in April with the Beach&Volley School, a study and sports holiday of 3, 4 or 5 days for boys and girls of middle and secondary schools. This kind of holiday is a chance to practice sport and in the same time to learn in the open air in a resort.

From April, 30th, to May, 2nd, several athletes from 6 to 16 years old will be involved in ParkVolley Junior Trophy, exclusively for sports clubs and for schools.

It continues with the most important event in Bibione: the Beach Volley Marathon, that also this year renews its double appointment. The first marathon will take place in May, the second in September, with the same rules of the last years and sure with a lot of athletes coming from Italy and from all Europe and with a large public.

The Five-a-side Football Meeting -Legea Cup is the protagonist of 3 week ends in May, June and July with a particular feature: the Night Trophy and the Day Trophy. This means matches both day and night, with the participation of more than 250 men’s and female’s teams.

From middle June to the beginning of July the Bibione Basket Camp will welcome basketball fans from 8 to 17 years old and it will learn all the secret of this sport together with a lot of fun.

July is surely the hottest month for the sport in Bibione. At the beginning of the month it will be the 14° Beach&Ball Trophy, a beach volley tournament for boys and girls from 9 to 19 years old, while in the week end of the 10th and 11th of July, the seaside resort will host 4 tournaments: the third match of five-a-side football meeting, the 4×4 Beach Volley Into the Night, the Beach Rugby Festival and the Basket3 Meeting.
For a week end Bibione will be the capital of the sport with 4 different sports, all rich in competitive spirit and also fun, with thousand of participants ready to engage fans and tourists both day and night. Tourist will have also the opportunity to have fun with the evening parties on the beach, organized by the sports clubs.

Thanks to the beauty of its natural environment, to the healthiness of the beach and of the sea and to the presence of recreational facilities and of resorts, hotels and apartments, Bibione was chosen also to host two sports summer camps from May to September: the Volleyball & Beach Volley Summer Camp and the Basketball Summer Camps, exclusively for sports clubs. Bibione couldn’t miss the meeting with the women’s volley! From Friday 24th to Sunday 26th of July, the athletes of the First Division Women’s Volleyball League will meet together in the beautiful and wide beach of Bibione with Chiquita Cup Sand Volley 4×4.

After the winter indoor championship, the teams meet again on the sand of five Italian beaches to win three trophies: Shield, Italy Cup and Italian Supercup. In the Bibione Beach Arena the Shield will be the protagonist: the winner of the Master in the seaside resort will win the prestigious trophy.

Chiquita Cup takes in the different beaches a lot of fun and also the solidarity, that this year has an important role with “Jump! For life”, a marathon of jumps on trampolines against the poverty in the world.

As regards the entertainment, the women’s volleyball tournament offers a lot of fun for children and adults. At the Beach Volley School children can play volleyball twice daily with the best volleyball players as teachers. Adults can compete in amateur tournaments on the burning sand of Bibione, trying to emulate the athletes, or they can spend an intense fitness afternoon in the Village. A very peculiar fitness, the Walkexercise with mechanical and not electric treadmills. Who is tired of being under the beach umbrella, can try this new sport. The physical exercise is ensured!

The fun does not stop: music, a lot of stands rich in gadgets and good and fresh Chiquita milk shakes, but especially the evening show with the comic actors of Zelig, the famous TV programme, in the Bibione Beach Arena. Thanks to its central position, all tourists can easily reach the Arena with the public transportation from their hotels or apartaments in Bibione to enjoy both the funny evening and the volley matches during the week end.
