Your holiday in Bibione between beach and sport

There are few months to the summer, but the sports events calendar is already known and very rich.
The beach of Bibione, the hotels, the apartments and the entire seaside resort will host from April to September several athletes and managers of all ages and nations engaged in tournaments and meetings of volleyball, beach volley, basketball and beach rugby.

To enable all athletes to play in the best way, it will be used fields on the beach, in the Arena Beach particularly, the gym and the outdoor fields. Also the accommodation facilities of the seaside resort will be ready to welcome thousands of athletes not only for the period of the tournament. As a matter of fact, a lot of athletes with their families or with their friends take advantage of this opportunity to spend a short holiday on the beach and very often, hotels and apartments of Bibione suggest them some special offers.

The sporting season begins in April with the Beach&Volley School, a study and sports holiday of 3, 4 or 5 days for boys and girls of middle and secondary schools. This kind of holiday is a chance to practice sport and in the same time to learn in the open air in a resort.

From April, 30th, to May, 2nd, several athletes from 6 to 16 years old will be involved in ParkVolley Junior Trophy, exclusively for sports clubs and for schools.

It continues with the most important event in Bibione: the Beach Volley Marathon, that also this year renews its double appointment. The first marathon will take place in May, the second in September, with the same rules of the last years and sure with a lot of athletes coming from Italy and from all Europe and with a large public.

The Five-a-side Football Meeting -Legea Cup is the protagonist of 3 week ends in May, June and July with a particular feature: the Night Trophy and the Day Trophy. This means matches both day and night, with the participation of more than 250 men’s and female’s teams.

From middle June to the beginning of July the Bibione Basket Camp will welcome basketball fans from 8 to 17 years old and it will learn all the secret of this sport together with a lot of fun.

July is surely the hottest month for the sport in Bibione. At the beginning of the month it will be the 14° Beach&Ball Trophy, a beach volley tournament for boys and girls from 9 to 19 years old, while in the week end of the 10th and 11th of July, the seaside resort will host 4 tournaments: the third match of five-a-side football meeting, the 4×4 Beach Volley Into the Night, the Beach Rugby Festival and the Basket3 Meeting.
For a week end Bibione will be the capital of the sport with 4 different sports, all rich in competitive spirit and also fun, with thousand of participants ready to engage fans and tourists both day and night. Tourist will have also the opportunity to have fun with the evening parties on the beach, organized by the sports clubs.

Thanks to the beauty of its natural environment, to the healthiness of the beach and of the sea and to the presence of recreational facilities and of resorts, hotels and apartments, Bibione was chosen also to host two sports summer camps from May to September: the Volleyball & Beach Volley Summer Camp and the Basketball Summer Camps, exclusively for sports clubs. Athletes and trainers have in this way the chance to join the beach holiday with their sport and to improve their knowledges in a healthy and amusing seaside resort.

With these sports events and with other several events, tourists will have the chance to spend extraordinary and enjoyable beach holidays in Bibione.

Volleyball on the beach of Bibione

Bibione couldn’t miss the meeting with the women’s volley! From Friday 24th to Sunday 26th of July, the athletes of the First Division Women’s Volleyball League will meet together in the beautiful and wide beach of Bibione with Chiquita Cup Sand Volley 4×4.

After the winter indoor championship, the teams meet again on the sand of five Italian beaches to win three trophies: Shield, Italy Cup and Italian Supercup. In the Bibione Beach Arena the Shield will be the protagonist: the winner of the Master in the seaside resort will win the prestigious trophy.

Chiquita Cup takes in the different beaches a lot of fun and also the solidarity, that this year has an important role with “Jump! For life”, a marathon of jumps on trampolines against the poverty in the world.

As regards the entertainment, the women’s volleyball tournament offers a lot of fun for children and adults. At the Beach Volley School children can play volleyball twice daily with the best volleyball players as teachers. Adults can compete in amateur tournaments on the burning sand of Bibione, trying to emulate the athletes, or they can spend an intense fitness afternoon in the Village. A very peculiar fitness, the Walkexercise with mechanical and not electric treadmills. Who is tired of being under the beach umbrella, can try this new sport. The physical exercise is ensured!

The fun does not stop: music, a lot of stands rich in gadgets and good and fresh Chiquita milk shakes, but especially the evening show with the comic actors of Zelig, the famous TV programme, in the Bibione Beach Arena. Thanks to its central position, all tourists can easily reach the Arena with the public transportation from their hotels or apartaments in Bibione to enjoy both the funny evening and the volley matches during the week end.
